Encryption Services PIC uses IPsec protocols to offer authentication and privacy services at the network layer for both IPv4 and IPv6. The flexible and extensible IPsec protocols support a wide range of services, including authentication origin, data integrity, confidentiality, replay protection, and non-repudiation of the source. IPsec also defines mechanisms for key generation and exchange,management of security associations, and support for digital certificates.
